I am a computer scientist who a few years ago, out of sheer curiosity, picked up a little digital camera and discovered the world of photography. In 2006 instead of upgrading my little digital camera to a dSLR I decided to switch to 35mm SLR and fell in love with film.
Photography gives me the opportunity to explore the world that surrounds us, notice and record things which possibly would have gone unnoticed, as well as share those findings with an audience.
I love sharing my work with different viewers and learn how they perceive the images through the prism of their experiences. It's probably the second most exhilarating moment in the whole photographic process; the first, of course, being the discovery of the image through the viewfinder.

The idea behind the blog was to share my vision of everyday life and the joy of photography with others. However due to my background in
computer science it serves not only as a place for experiments and constant improvements of my photographic skills and technique, but as a
sandbox for my web-development experiments.
