Violet - Violaceae Viola missouriensis Violet - Violaceae Viola missouriensis

Some very exciting stuff has been happening this week. :)

On Thursday I've been featured as Inspired Artist on Creature Comforts, a lovely and very inspirational design blog run by Ez.

And... [there is more :)] ...later that same day one of my images was featured on things i love thursdays : alphabet edition! at another wonderful design blog - design is mine.

Today's image is of tiny violets (Violaceae Viola missouriensis). The flowers are about 1-2cm in size; they love the Texas weather, which is good, but they spread like crazy, which turned out to be really bad. :)

Very nice composition and color tones. If the leaf on right top corner would not be there, it could be excellent!

Miro, thanks for stopping by and commenting on the stem in the top right hand corner ..
I still have my doubts about having it in or out...
