The Redwood Tales

Lately I've been having a pretty hard time writing the posts. When I am away from the computer I think of all the cool things I can tell you all about, but when I actually sit down to write the post none of it seems important anymore.

I took a little time off from work and the blog over the past weekend and went on a little vacation. I've brought back a few rolls of film and since I've been back I've been busy cutting and scanning them. :)
Today's image was taken on a seven mile hike in the Purisima Creek Redwoods. The hike is just gorgeous and reminded me a lot of the book by Upton Sinclair I've red as a child - The Gnomobile. :)

It was a cool summer day the first time I saw hydrangea in bloom; it was in Brugge, Belguim.
Years later I took this image on a scorching hot Texas afternoon, but it reminds me of the first time I ever saw it and of the wonderful days spent in Brugge eating Belgian chocolates. :))

I guess it's more of a sentimental piece, the kind you are really supposed to avoid unless your audience can get all that by just looking at the image. :)
I hope you will enjoy it anyway. :)

I haven't been posting as often as I would like, but this time around I have some really good news and hopefully not a bad image either. :))

For the past few weeks I've been working with the Visual Arts Coalition of Dallas on redesigning and updating their website and today it finally went live. :)
