<img src="http://everyday-wonders.com/images/gallery/200/332_19.jpg">
Lately I've been having a pretty hard time writing the posts. When I am away from the computer I think of all the cool things I can tell you all about, but when I actually sit down to write the post none of it seems important anymore.

I took a little time off from work and the blog over the past weekend and went on a little vacation. I've brought back a few rolls of film and since I've been back I've been busy cutting and scanning them. :)
Today's image was taken on a seven mile hike in the Purisima Creek Redwoods. The hike is just gorgeous and reminded me a lot of the book by <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Upton_Sinclair" rel=""external">Upton Sinclair I've red as a child - The Gnomobile. :)

I also wanted to remind you that today is the last day to enter the Mega Giveaway at purplepinkandorange.com for a chance to win a 6x9 inch print of your choice from my shop. I believe the winner will be announced tomorrow. :)

<img src="http://everyday-wonders.com/images/gallery/200/85_18.jpg">
It was a cool summer day the first time I saw hydrangea in bloom; it was in Brugge, Belguim.
Years later I took this image on a scorching hot Texas afternoon, but it reminds me of the first time I ever saw it and of the wonderful days spent in Brugge eating Belgian chocolates. :))

I guess it's more of a sentimental piece, the kind you are really supposed to avoid unless your audience can get all that by just looking at the image. :)
I hope you will enjoy it anyway. :)

P.S. Don't forget to sign up for a chance to win one of my 6x9 inch prints at purplepinkandorange.com. You have until midnight, August 23rd.
